Job Description
Mount Berry Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician/assistant. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Getting a thorough history for sick patients. Collecting specimens (such as blood, urine, feces) and performing laboratory tests. Preparing animals for surgery and monitoring the animal during surgery Performing dental cleanings Giving specialized nursing care to critically ill or injured animals IV catheter placement and management Medical records administration Patient observation Assisting and taking digital radiography imaging Dental radiography Administering medications and treatments Reviewing treatment protocols and discharge instructions with pet owners. Customer service skills are imperative in this service industry, as you will be answering phones and spending time with clients. Experience preferred Pay Rate will be based on experience and performance
