Kennel/Boarding Assistant

## Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a desire to provide excellent care for our furry friends. ## Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care of animals in the kennel facility
• Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal areas
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Provide basic grooming such as bathing and brushing
• Help with animal handling, restraint, and transportation
• Maintain accurate records of animal care activities ## Requirements
• Experience or knowledge in pet sitting, animal handling, and pet care
• Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
• Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology is beneficial
• Willingness to learn pet grooming techniques
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting or laboratory is advantageous
