This position supports our veterinarians and credentialed technicians by providing quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining a clean and organized hospital, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for animal health and client care. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments Safely restrain pets for exams, blood draws, radiography, nail trims and other procedures Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and accurate weights Prepare surgical patients and assist with anesthesia and recovery as directed Maintain accurate medical records Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a veterinary hospital Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal handling Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
