Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
• Collect and update patient information, including medical history
• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures
• Handle financial transactions, including billing and processing payments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns

Skills:

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with kennel operations and animal care protocols
• Understanding of aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment
• Basic understanding of animal husbandry practices
• Ability to handle laboratory samples and perform basic tests
• Knowledge of animal physiology and common health conditions
