Job Summary:

Kennel Techs are the primary caretakers of our puppies. Overall care and routine cleanings are a part of a normal day. Tasks include but are not limited to puppy baths, deep kennel cleanings, and many more responsibilities! Puppy cuddles are mandatory! Looking for high energy positive members for our team! Looking for weekday/weekend shifts 8am-10:30am, 8am-1:30pm. 1:30pm-7pm, 12pm-8pm, 2pm-8pm, 4pm-8pm.

Duties:

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, grooming and administering medication as directed by veterinary staff
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to veterinary staff
• Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
• Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being
• Assist with handling animals during examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and any observed changes in behavior or health
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or in a similar animal care role is preferred
• Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and basic medical procedures
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
