This role requires experience handling animals in a veterinary setting and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and veterinary staff. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Process payments. Assist veterinarian with tasks as needed, including handling animals during examinations and surgeries. Have basic knowledge on veterinary terminology, animal physiology. Ensure the exam room and surgery room is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Sterilization for surgical instruments and surgery packs. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting. Familiarity with veterinary terminology, products, medications, and animal physiology is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations compassionately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and appointments. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. A genuine passion for animal welfare and client service.
