Job Summary Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant/Client Care Specialist, where your passion for animal care and exceptional client service will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you'll support veterinary professionals in providing top-tier medical care, assist with animal handling and restraint, and ensure our clients feel confident and cared for throughout their visit. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, compassionate environment dedicated to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint, handling, and care during examinations, treatments, and surgeries to ensure safety for both animals and team members. Support clinical procedures including IV insertions, catheterizations, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to maintain high standards of patient care. Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas with proper sterilization and setup using personal protective equipment (PPE) to uphold safety protocols. Provide excellent front desk support by scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Assist with laboratory work including sample collection, processing tests, and recording results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. Handle pet care responsibilities such as walking dogs, administering medications, and supporting pet owners with post-operative instructions or behavioral guidance. Skills Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and be taught. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients at the front desk while demonstrating professionalism and empathy in all interactions. Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and clinical procedures is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint techniques for dogs, cats, equines, and other species; experience with equine handling is a plus.

Job Type:
Full-Time Clinic Hours of Operations are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Hours May Very and May Be Asked to Stay Late to Close Out The Day.
