Description:
Responsibilities primarily include providing a friendly, efficient experience for the client and patient during the examination. The Veterinary Assistant will greet and check in the client and patient, communicate information effectively to the DVM, restrain patients during examination and procedures, and have financial discussions with clients. Opening and closing duties, including cleaning, are required. Cross-training to provide coverage from time to time for the reception desk is also needed.
Hours:
Average of 20 hrs/week. Potential for more hours as the business grows. Required to work every other Saturday, or equivalent.
