What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our doctors and technician team while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities may include:

Assist with patient restraint and handling Perform venipuncture Place IV catheters Assist with anesthesia and patient monitoring Read and understand anesthetic monitoring equipment Assist with surgical procedures and patient preparation Support dental procedures and dental radiographs Assist with diagnostics and treatments Maintain a clean, organized environment Work collaboratively with doctors, technicians, and the entire hospital team What We're Looking For Must‑Have Qualifications Teamwork & communication — able to collaborate smoothly with coworkers and maintain positive, professional interactions with clients. Positive attitude — willing to jump in, learn new skills, support the team, and keep a sense of humor during busy days. Preferred (but not required) Experience Anesthetic monitoring — familiarity with tracking patient vitals during procedures. Reading monitoring equipment — ability to interpret values from ECG, pulse ox, BP, and other devices. Venipuncture — comfortable obtaining blood samples safely and efficiently. IV catheter placement — experience placing and securing IV catheters. Dental prophylaxis — knowledge of performing routine dental cleanings. Dental radiography — ability to obtain clear, diagnostic dental X‑rays.
