In this vital role, you will provide exceptional animal care, restrain animals for procedures, and support the overall operations of our veterinary clinic. Your expertise in animal handling, clinical procedures, and client communication will help ensure the health and well-being of our patients while delivering outstanding service to pet owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about animal welfare and veterinary medicine. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and restraining animals Provide compassionate animal handling and restraint to ensure safety for both animals and staff during treatments and examinations Perform animal husbandry tasks including cleaning, feeding and maintaining a clean clinic environment Support record keeping by documenting treatments, medication administration, and patient histories with precision Handle front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and managing client communication effectively Requirements Proven kennel experience combined with veterinary technician or critical care experience is highly preferred Strong background in animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care across various species including dogs, cats, and equines Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal husbandry practices Excellent record keeping skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of treatments and procedures Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Prior veterinary clinic experience demonstrating proficiency in animal welfare practices and emergency response preparedness Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals while advancing your career in a supportive and energetic environment.
