Schedule Our desired schedule is:
    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday:
    8:00 AM-5:00 PM
      Monday:
      Off
        Saturday:
        8:00 AM-12:00 PM
        • Weekdays include a 1-hour lunch break We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, versatile, and enjoys working with both animals and people.
        Previous animal handling and customer service experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. About the Position This position will involve working with both companion animals, primarily dogs and cats, and large animals, including cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and other species. Because of the nature of our mixed animal practice, the successful candidate must be physically capable of safely handling and restraining large dogs and the large animals we work with. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
        • Assisting veterinarians with client appointments
        • Assisting with surgical procedures
        • Kennel duties, including cleaning cages and runs
        • Administering medications to animals
        • Assisting with radiographs and ultrasounds
        • Communicating with pet owners and livestock producers
        • Answering phones, assisting at the front desk, and scheduling appointments
        • Checking in and pricing merchandise and medications shipped to the clinic
        • Assisting with inventory management
        • Assisting veterinarians with vaccinating, castrating, and medicating cattle
        • Assisting veterinarians with farm calls involving cattle, horses, and other large animals
