Job Description

Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team in Townsend, MT!
We are looking for:
A candidate with a strong work ethic who is self-motivated, organized, and has the ability to multi-task. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, and have a positive attitude. Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic is a mixed-practice offering after-hours emergencies as well. This position is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Doctors in all aspects of patient care. This includes, but is not limited to, greeting clients, measuring vitals, preparing surgeries, monitoring animals before, during, and after surgery, and maintaining sanitary environmental conditions (including animal blood and waste, sweeping, mopping, cleaning corrals, etc.). Candidate must be a team player and able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis. This is a full time position consisting of a four day work week. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person for our team. Rate of pay is based on experience and whether you are an LVT. Job Requirements:
Reliable transportation. Able to work in all weather conditions. Comfortable working with and handling animals of all sizes, breeds, and species. Self-motivated and able to work well with a team.
