Full-Time Veterinary Assistant Park Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care Durham, NCSchedule:

Full-time | 10-hour shifts | Rotating weekends required | Open 7 days/weekPark Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care is an AAHA-accredited, full-spectrum small animal hospital seeking a motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. Our clinic provides:

ultrasounds, orthopedic surgeries, laser therapy, dental x rays, tech appointments and other surgeriesWe maintain strong AAHA standards only RVTs perform anesthesia and surgical duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnimal restraint (Fear Free & Cat Friendly preferred)Assist with exams, treatments, and proceduresCollect samples (blood, urine, fecal) & run in-house diagnosticsPerform radiographsPrepare exam rooms & maintain cleanlinessAdminister medications under DVM/RVT supervisionClient education & communicationMaintain accurate medical recordsAssist with pharmacy and inventorySupport hospitalized patient care

What Were Looking For:

1-2 years of Veterinary assistant experience requiredStrong customer service skillsComfortable handling dogs & catsAbility to lift up to 40 lbsA dependable and adaptable team player with strong communication skills.

Experience with Cornerstone a plus
