Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other procedures
- Handle and restrain animals during treatments
- Perform animal catheterization when required
- Assist with equine care if needed
- Help with pet grooming tasks
- Provide basic pet care including feeding and exercising
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility Qualifications
- Experience in animal handling and restraint
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with animal physiology
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
