Job Description

Garden State Equine Veterinary Dentistry is hiring! We are looking for an awesome veterinary assistant. We are the only board certified equine veterinary dentistry practice in New Jersey and Eastern PA. We see routine and referral cases at farms, our clinic in Princeton, and at University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center. More information about the practice can be found at gardenstateequine.
com The ideal candidate would:
  • Be an experienced horse handler who can safely handle horses of all ages, sizes and demeanors
  • Hold and monitor equine patients during routine exams and standing surgical procedures
  • Prepare for, and clean-up after procedures
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Keep instruments and equipment in good working order
  • Assist with record keeping
  • Drive practice vehicle: clean driving record a must!
  • Like stopping for snacks and Wawa
  • Music and podcast preferences negotiable The hours are Monday
  • Thursday, about 8
  • 5, but can vary.
