Job Description
About Us We are a fast paced, small animal, two doctor veterinary practice, in search of a strongly skilled assistant. Our current staff includes a team of 2 receptionists, 2 highly trained veterinary assistants, 1 RVT and a practice manager. Our clinic provides preventative medicine, sick and chronic illness management; Idexx digital radiology, in-house lab and reference lab services; dental care, general surgery, acupuncture and chiropractic services. We work with Imaging 4 Pets to perform ultrasounds and echocardiograms. Our practice does not offer after hours emergency services and have very few cases that stay overnight. The ideal candidate is conscientious of their work, can multi-task, and is patient with their peers and our clients. Bonus points for having technical skills such as venipuncture, surgical prep and radiograph positioning . A working knowledge of lab practices, dental prophylaxis and anesthesia monitoring is helpful. Must be able to answer phones and speak directly to clients. What can we offer?
