Job Description
Madison Veterinary Hospital is a busy, privately owned, multi-doctor small animal hospital looking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our collaborative, well-supported team. - Strong assistant team: 9 assistants with varying levels of expertise
- Modern medicine: IDEXX in-house lab, digital & dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, routine and advanced surgeries
- Varied days: ~60-65 appointments per day and 20-30 surgeries per week
- Mentorship & onboarding: Shadow-based training with ongoing support

- Assist RVT's with surgery and monitor anesthesia
- Support doctors during exams and procedures
- Care for hospitalized patients
- Educate clients clearly and compassionately
- Practice low-stress handling and follow hospital protocols
