Western Hills Veterinary Clinic in Middletown, OH is seeking to fill 1-2 full time positions, and, possibly 1 part time position at our full-service Clinic, for a Veterinary Receptionist/Technician Assistant. Compensation is appropriate to experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing multiple phone lines Scheduling appointments Greeting clients Admitting and discharging pets Processing payments Properly adding procedures and medications to invoice Properly filling medications as directed by RVTs and/or Veterinarians Cleaning and packing of surgical instruments Caring for boarded pets and Clinic animals Ensuring that the Clinic is clean and presentable at all times Inventories and stocking suppliesHours:
We are open Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary through the week. Expect 38 to 40 (+/-) hours (full time) per week with rotating weekends for kennels, including holidays. We are not open for business on weekends.Preferred Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent skills in the following areas: Client services, sales Communication skills Honesty and integrity Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time Multi-tasking while staying calm Applicants should possess a great attitude and outgoing personality Problem solving abilities A high level of computer proficiency Exceptional telephone communication skills Most importantly, applicants must be able to work as part of a team! Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary setting, however, we are happy to train the right applicant. Candidates must have experience in a customer service environment. This position requires someone that is excellent at handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team. Minimum education required is High School Diploma. Reviews first 90 days with increases as earned. Full time positions are eligible for 40 hours PTO after the first year.Job Type:
