Job Description

Job Summary Are you looking for a job in the veterinary field where you can make a difference? Come work with us! We are a non-profit affordable spay/neuter clinic that serves the public and other recuse groups. Duties Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, medication administration and sample collection. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques for examinations, treatments and diagnostic procedures. Support laboratory work by preparing samples, running tests and maintaining accurate records. Manage front desk responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, client communication and patient check-in/out processes. Maintain aseptic techniques during surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Assist with specialized tasks including animal catheterization, intravenous injections with an understanding animal physiology/anatomy. Requirements Proven kennel experience along with veterinary clinic experience demonstrating familiarity with animal care protocols. Strong animal handling skills across various species, including dogs, cats, and equines. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, pet care practices and laboratory procedures relevant to a veterinary setting. Experience with animal restraint techniques, medication administration and aseptic techniques. Prior veterinary technician or assistant experience preferred; candidates with veterinary critical care experience are highly valued. Excellent communication skills for front desk duties and client interactions; a positive attitude is essential. Join us in providing compassionate, expert care.
