Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant/RVT Student to join us! As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care, assisting our veterinary staff, and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures; administer medications as directed; monitor patient status; and provide comfort and care to animals under our care.

Client Communication:

Provide compassionate and informative client communication, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Hospital Operations:

Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment; prepare and sterilize equipment; and assist with inventory management.

Administrative Tasks:

Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion for animals and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift and handle animals of various sizes. Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
