Veterinary AssistantQuakertown Veterinary Clinic | Quakertown, PAQuakertown Veterinary Clinic is growing our Small Animal team and is looking for caring, motivated Veterinary Assistants for both daytime and overnight shifts. Whether you already have veterinary experience or are looking to continue building your clinical skills, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians in a collaborative, 24-hour hospital.

Assisting veterinarians and licensed technicians during examinations and medical proceduresSafely handling and restraining dogs and cats for treatments and diagnosticsPreparing patients and equipment for exams, procedures, and surgeryCollecting laboratory samples and performing basic in-house testing as directedAdministering medications and treatments under veterinary supervisionTaking diagnostic radiographs following hospital protocolsPreparing prescription medications and assisting with refill requestsRecording patient information, treatments, and charges in the medical record systemCommunicating with clients in a professional and compassionate mannerHelping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areaScheduleWe offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with a variety of schedules, including:Day shiftsEvening shiftsOvernight shiftsSelect holidaysAdditional compensation may be available for qualifying overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
