Job Description
Veterinary Technician or Assistant We are an innovative veterinary hospital. Our services range from routine puppy/kitten visits to orthopedic surgeries. We have a facility that allows us to offer; separated boarding areas for both dogs and cats, complete in-house laboratory testing, and x-ray. Educating our staff is very important to us and we will provide employees with continuing education opportunities on a regular basis. Our goal is to find a friendly, passionate, and motivated veterinary technician or assistant to join our team. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to effectively handle a wide range of responsibilities, and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience as a veterinary technician should include; knowledge of basic healthcare for companion animals, client education, intravenous catheter placement, venipuncture, and general knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, and surgery preparation. Candidates must be compassionate and patient as we strive to create stress free veterinary visits for our patients and their people. Salary based on experience and skill level.
