Buckwalter Veterinary Clinic is a thriving, 4 doctor small animal hospital located in a welcoming, community focused environment. As we continue to grow and prepare for an exciting move into a new state of the art facility , we're looking to expand our team with an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant who brings professionalism, compassion, and expertise to the table. Position Requirements:
We are seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant with 3+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
The ideal candidate will:
Be proficient in veterinary dentistry and surgical assistance Possess strong technical skills and attention to detail Be comfortable taking patient histories, collecting lab specimens , calculating dosages, and filling prescriptions Excel in client communication and education Be familiar with using practice management software Be physically capable of lifting 40+ lbs and standing for extended periods Have a team first attitude , ready to assist wherever needed in the clinic
