Ghent and Granby Veterinary Hospital is an independent, AAHA-accredited practice with a new flagship hospital on Granby Street in Norfolk. We are filling an immediate opening for a Veterinary Assistant who wants to practice meaningful, quality-focused medicine alongside a team that shares your values. The "Veterinary Journey" (Our Tiered Path) Your career shouldn't be a dead end. We offer a clear, supportive tiered growth path: Tier 1: Entry-level/Students learning the ropes with dedicated mentorship. Tier 2: Competent Assistants running outpatient rooms and diagnostic labs. Tier 3: Advanced/Surgical Leads handling complex cases, surgery, and flow. What You'll Do (Duties)
Compassionate Care:
Deliver low-stress patient handling and ensure every pet feels safe.
Technical Support:
Assist with laboratory work, treatments, and surgical prep in our modern hospital.
Client Connection:
Help pet owners understand and champion their pet's medical care.

Benefits & Compensation Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00/hr (Commensurate with your Tier).
