Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital is growing—and we're looking for great people to grow with us! We are seeking Veterinary Assistants and Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who are dependable, compassionate, professional, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team. We are a progressive, fast-paced veterinary hospital committed to providing exceptional patient care and an outstanding client experience . Veterinary Assistants We are looking for Veterinary Assistants who are confident working in a busy veterinary environment and who want to continue developing their skills.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting veterinarians and LVTs with appointments and procedures Obtaining and accurately recording patient histories and vital signs Preparing and restraining patients appropriately Assisting with laboratory procedures, radiographs, surgery, and anesthesia Maintaining clean, organized treatment and exam areas Providing compassionate patient handling and care Communicating professionally with clients Anticipating the needs of the medical team rather than waiting to be asked Following hospital protocols and SOPs consistently Supporting coworkers and contributing to a positive team environment We are looking for someone who: Has veterinary assistant experience or relevant veterinary education Is dependable and has excellent attendance Works well under pressure Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment Takes initiative and looks for ways to help Is coachable and eager to learn Communicates directly and professionally Understands that veterinary medicine is a team effort Treats patients, clients, and coworkers with respect and compassion Customer Service Representatives Our CSRs are the first and last impression many clients have of our hospital. We are looking for individuals who understand that exceptional customer service is about much more than answering the phone.
Responsibilities may include:
Greeting clients and patients warmly and professionally Answering a high volume of phone calls Scheduling appointments accurately and efficiently Checking clients in and out Processing payments and discussing fees Communicating treatment recommendations and hospital policies Managing client questions, concerns, and expectations Maintaining accurate client and patient information Following up with clients and ensuring callbacks are completed Working closely with the medical team to provide a seamless client experience We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is friendly, confident, and professional Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail Is comfortable discussing fees and hospital policies Has strong computer and organizational skills Takes ownership of their responsibilities Can remain calm and compassionate during difficult situations Is dependable and punctual Enjoys working collaboratively with a team What We Expect From Every Team Member At Aquia-Garrisonville Animal Hospital, culture matters just as much as clinical and customer service skills. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 37.0 per week
