Job Description
Veterinary Assistant The function of the Veterinary Assistant at Meadow Branch Animal Hospital is to support the Veterinarians, and Technicians in many ways, but not limited to: assist with surgical procedures and to oversee care of hospitalized patients. Ancillary responsibilities of this job include drawing up prescribed medications, discharging hospitalized our surgical patients, assisting with appointments, patient restraint, basic husbandry, and educating clients on preventative care measures and other recommendations.
