Veterinary Assistant for our Veterinary Rehab, Laser and Underwater Treadmill Your actual starting hourly pay rate is based on experience and/or possession of current and valid LVT license

Position Details Part-time:
Approximately 1.5 days per week Schedule can be structured as three 5-hour half-days per week , or an equivalent schedule Starting pay: $20/hour Veterinary experience is required Experience with underwater treadmill and/or therapeutic laser is strongly preferred Competitive pay based on experience.   • (•=lined out in employee handbook) What You'll Do Perform and assist with underwater treadmill therapy Provide therapeutic laser treatments Safely handle and monitor patients throughout rehabilitation sessions Communicate with clients about their pets' rehabilitation visits Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming rehabilitation area Work closely with our veterinary team to provide excellent patient care Build relationships with our regular rehabilitation clients and their pets Who We're Looking For Northshore Veterinary Hospital is looking for a part-time Veterinary Assistant / Rehabilitation Technician to join our team and help provide rehabilitation services to our growing client and patient population.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with both pets and their people. We have a very full client list for underwater treadmill (UWTM) and therapeutic laser treatments , making this a wonderful role for getting to know our patients and building lasting relationships with their families. Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has previous veterinary experience Is comfortable handling dogs and cats of varying sizes, temperaments, and mobility levels Is compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail Enjoys working directly with clients and building relationships Is dependable and able to work independently Has an interest in veterinary rehabilitation and helping patients improve their comfort, strength, and quality of life Has UWTM and/or therapeutic laser experience (preferred, but not required) If you are an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys hands-on patient care and would love the opportunity to become a familiar and trusted face for our rehabilitation clients, we'd love to hear from you!
