Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is eager to continue learning, expand their clinical skills, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of pets and the people who love them. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated assistant who is eager to continue learning, expand their clinical knowledge, and work in a collaborative environment where they are empowered to fully utilize their skills. Our assistants play an active role in all aspects of hospital care, including patient care, client communication, surgery, dentistry, and outpatient procedures. We are looking for someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced setting, adapts well to changing priorities, anticipates team needs, communicates professionally, and takes pride in providing outstanding support throughout every stage of the patient visit. In this position, you will take an active role in: Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces Schedule and compensation:
