Job Description

Seeking an experienced Vet Assistant for an exclusive small animal general practice. Do you want to be a part of an energetic, fun and dedicated veterinary team? Are you looking for a healthy work-life balance? We are seeking a VA for a remodeled, fast-growing, multi-doctor, small animal veterinary practice in Everett, WA. We are privately owned and operated with family friendly hours 8:30am - 5pm weekdays and closed on weekends! Come be a part of a team you can be proud of; we are so excited to meet you!
About You:
You are a team player who genuinely cares for pets, coworkers and clientele. You can practice professional empathy while maintaining your professional role. You are able to multi-task and can work under pressure on a fitted schedule. You have an inquisitive mind with a can-do mindset. You understand that attention to detail and documentation is essential. Candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, able to take accurate notes, must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 40 pounds. Experience in customer service or an interest in reception work is a plus, but not required.
About Us:
Puget Park Veterinary Clinic provides compassionate veterinary care for dogs and cats. We aim to provide our clients with the best veterinary care with positive experiences by offering outstanding service, client education, and informed decision making. Our clean and modern facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, private surgery suite, isolated radiology room, separate dog and cat wards, in-house Idexx laboratory station as well as send outs to Idexx reference lab, large exam rooms, digital xray and digital dental xray, as well as access to numerous specialists for in house diagnostics and specialized consultations. We currently have 5 DVMs, in addition to a well-trained and dedicated support staff eagerly awaiting to meet their newest teammate! Wage dependent on experience.
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
