About the Role We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant (5+ years required) who is confident, compassionate, and ready to take the next step in their veterinary career. You'll work closely with our veterinarians and technicians to ensure excellent patient care and client service. Clinical Support:
Assist veterinarians during comprehensive exams, dental and surgical procedures.Patient Handling:
Safely, gently, and effectively handle and restrain patients for exams, treatments, and diagnostics.Treatments:
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations.Surgical & Lab Support:
Provide anesthesia support, monitor recovering patients, and maintain meticulous medical records.Client Education:
Communicate warmly and effectively with clients, helping to educate them on preventative pet care.Hospital Care:
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.What We're Looking For Experience:
5+ years of hands-on veterinary assistant experience required.Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in patient restraint, anesthesia monitoring support, and dental assisting.Core Traits:
A dependable, self-motivated individual with a compassionate attitude toward patients, clients, and coworkers alike.Soft Skills:
