Veterinary Assistant

North Sound Veterinary Urgent Care is hiring an experienced veterinary assistant for a part-time position in a small, streamlined urgent care clinic. We focus on same-day care for stable, non-critical medical issues. This role is ideal for someone comfortable with hands-on clinical work in a fast-paced setting. Schedule Requirements Part time Must be available: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday Key Responsibilities Patient restraint and handling Venipuncture and sample collection Administering injections and medications as directed Running in-house laboratory tests and preparing samples for reference labs Assisting with radiographs Patient intake and history gathering Assisting with treatments and monitoring patients Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment areas Supporting efficient patient flow in an urgent care environment Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members Qualifications Previous veterinary assistant experience required Comfortable with basic clinical procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and punctual Benefits Competitive hourly pay Predictable part-time schedule Paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law Supportive, small-team environment North Sound Veterinary Urgent Care is an equal opportunity employer.
