What we expect from you:
Valid WA Veterinary Medication Clerk License in good standing or eligible to obtain within 3-6 months of hire (we will help you!). 1 or more years of clinical veterinary experience. While we do welcome newcomers to the field, our current opening is for someone with prior experience.

Proficiency in core technical skills including animal handling, venipuncture, and administering medications. Knowledge of medical mathematics and terminology and apply them to your everyday work. Ability to recognize patient symptoms through own observations and patient histories and determine the urgency with which a patient must be treated. Strong organizational and time management skills The ability to adapt quickly to the ever-changing needs within a hospital on a day-to-day basis. Exercise attention to detail in all aspects of work, with an understanding that the difference between performing a task correctly vs. incorrectly can be life-changing for patients. Approach mistakes as an opportunity to learn, whether they were your own or someone else's. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to build rapport with clients and team members, fostering trust and loyalty.
