Location Purple Cat Veterinary Clinic is a mobile unit that provides spay and neuter services to the Northwest Wisconsin community with an office in Hayward. Practice Overview Purple Cat Mobile Clinic is a mobile veterinary team providing low-cost, high-quality cat spays and cat neuters to cats in need in Northwest Wisconsin. Purple Cat Veterinary Clinic works very closely with area humane societies and animal shelters in educating the public about the heartbreaking results of not spaying and neutering our cats. Our team consists of passionate individuals who believe in bettering the lives of cats. We are an energetic, caring, and set ourselves apart by the love and care we give to cats. Our top priority is to make spay and neuters an affordable priority. What You'll Be Working On Assist veterinarian with anesthetic induction and monitoring Ability to perform sterile surgery scrub Administer vaccines and injectable medication Obtaining and maintaining patient medical information Build and maintain client relationships Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care - verbal and written Physical demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the building Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications Veterinary Technician Certification in the state of Wisconsin Or Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a small animal clinic in a surgical setting preferred Flexible with scheduling Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives Strong commitment to ethics and integrity Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail What's In It For You Flexible schedule - maximum of a 2-day work week Current schedule is one day a week on Thursdays Hourly wages including travel time (exclusions apply) Simple IRA with 3% match eligibility Paid time off To apply, send your cover letter and résumé to: hiring@purplecatvet.com We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
