Join a team where your work matters! Valley West Veterinary Hospital is looking for an energetic, dependable Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant to join our busy, team-oriented practice. We are a well-established veterinary hospital that provides high-quality medicine in a fast-paced but supportive environment. Our team sees a wide variety of cases and works with advanced diagnostics and procedures, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopic surgery. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with patient care, treatments, and procedures Perform in-house laboratory testing and digital radiographs Assist with surgery and patient monitoring Prepare and dispense medications Educate and communicate with clients Provide compassionate care to hospitalized and outpatient pets We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Hardworking and willing to stay busy Positive and team-oriented Compassionate with both animals and people Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to communicate professionally with clients and coworkers Willing to learn and continue developing their veterinary skills Dependability and punctuality are a must! Previous veterinary experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to lift 45 lbs. and work some weekends and holidays.
