Job Description

Palmer Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full time technician to join our team. Palmer Veterinary Clinic in Palmer, Alaska has a position available for a veterinary technician. Experience as a vet tech and with animals is required, licensing is a plus. Technician responsibilities include venipuncture, administering injections, laboratory work, performing radiographs with proper technique, anesthetic induction and monitoring, surgical prep and assistance, dental prophylaxis, patient treatments, elective surgical releases, client education/client communication, computer record entry, filling prescriptions, etc. Emphasis on team approach to client service between receptionist, technical and veterinary staff.
