Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary technician/ Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic. Able to work as Vet tech, iv catheter, restraining the pets, triage pets helping in surgery room, radiology. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date. Process payments and manage billing inquiries. Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and inventory management. Provide information on pet care, vaccination schedules, and health concerns to clients. Ensure a clean and welcoming reception area for clients and their pets. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and basic veterinary terminology is highly desirable. Experience with animal handling, including dogs and exotics, is a plus. Familiarity with laboratory procedures or medication administration is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing records and schedules. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor during busy periods. Aseptic technique knowledge is an advantage but not required; training will be provided as necessary. knowledge of office managerial duties are plus.
