Dental Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Marketplace Veterinary Hospital | El Dorado Hills, CA Marketplace Veterinary Hospital in El Dorado Hills is looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team with a focus on advanced dentistry. We are a private, family-owned veterinary practice with a relaxed, supportive environment and a strong commitment to high-quality medicine. Our hospital is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM , with no weekend shifts , giving our team a strong work-life balance. About the Dental RVT Role This is an excellent opportunity for an RVT who enjoys dentistry and wants to take an active role in advanced dental procedures. Our dental technicians work with a high level of autonomy and are involved in procedures including: Dental prophylaxis and full-mouth dental radiographs Complicated dental extractions Regional nerve blocks Gingival suturing Anesthesia monitoring and recovery Patient preparation and surgical support Producing diagnostic dental radiographs Post-operative patient care Dental experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right RVT. We are looking for someone who is confident, detail-oriented, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Our Hospital Marketplace Veterinary Hospital is equipped to support both general practice and advanced dentistry, including: Dedicated area for advanced dentistry Digital dental radiography Digital general radiography Fully equipped surgical suite Idexx in-house laboratory equipment, including ProCyte, Catalyst and SediVue Ultrasound Full in-house pharmacy What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Valid California RVT license Experience with or strong interest in veterinary dentistry Strong anesthesia monitoring and recovery skills IV catheter placement Anesthesia induction and intubation Accurate drug calculations Dental radiography Medication administration In-house laboratory experience Strong patient restraint and handling skills Excellent communication and client education skills Strong computer and organizational skills Ability to work independently and think critically A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist throughout the hospital when needed What You'll Do Compensation & Benefits $26-$30/hr , based on experience, skill level and proficiency.
