Job Description
Sendero Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! We're a busy, modern small-animal practice in Ladera Ranch/Rancho Mission Viejo. We're looking for someone who is confident, dependable, kind, and comfortable jumping in wherever needed. If you love veterinary medicine, land want to be somewhere your skills are genuinely appreciated, we'd love to meet you. What you'll be doing: Patient restraint and handling Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Running in-house laboratory testing Digital radiographs Surgical preparation, monitoring and recovery Dental procedures Medication administration Assisting doctors with appointments and treatments Keeping accurate medical records Providing great communication and compassionate care to our clients and patients What we're looking for: Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience strongly preferred Strong animal handling and technical skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospital Dependable and team-oriented Excellent communication skills A positive attitude and a sense of humor definitely don't hurt!
