The Stockton Animal Shelter needs a talented and energetic surgery veterinary technician! Work for a non-profit to provide excellent medical care to one of the busiest shelters in California. Join our incredible team of dedicated people making a difference for the community's most vulnerable animals. With no required client interaction, flexible scheduling and hard closing times, this position offers relief from some of the major stressors of private practice. Come be a part our medical team as we treat a variety of infectious diseases, traumas, and mystery cases from all over the San Joaquin Valley. Requirements:
Commitment to animal welfare and a compassionate approach to veterinary care. Minimum two working days a week (Must be able to work Mondays).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an animal shelter or rescue organization. Additional certifications or training in shelter medicine or public health.
