Pinery Veterinary Center is looking for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Technician experienced in Preventative and Urgent Care as well as Surgery and Anesthesia, with a passion for providing excellent and efficient patient care. Some duties will include; Professional client communication and education. Diagnostic imaging and utilizing safety protocols. Use of Idexx Laboratory Diagnostic machines (Catalyst/Procyte/SnapPro) Nursing skills including; restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SQ/IM, applying, and maintaining bandages. Proficient in Dental Prophylaxis/Charting/Radiology. Proficient in Anesthesia Monitoring. Proficient in Anesthetic and Pharmaceutical drug knowledge. Proficient in IV catheter placement and Venipuncture. Knowledge of Preventative Care protocols for specific species. Effective time management. Potential team members should value teamwork, be willing to learn from and willing to teach others, and bring a positive attitude to the team. Our operating hours are Monday - Saturday 8am-6pm. Education requirements:
Associate Degree in Veterinary Science, Passed VTNE, Registered with DORA as a Registered Veterinary Technician (License will be requested and verified).
Pay:
