About the role:

Prepare patients, medications, equipment, and treatment areas for sedation and general anesthesia. Provide continuous multi-parameter monitoring and recognize and respond to changes in patient status and anesthetic emergencies. Demonstrate strong knowledge of anesthetic and analgesic medications, including their effects and potential adverse reactions. Safely operate, troubleshoot, and maintain anesthesia and monitoring equipment. Maintain appropriate sterile technique and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Provide attentive post-anesthetic monitoring and safely transition patients back to their admitting service. Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and specialty teams to coordinate patient care.

Schedule:

This is a full time position with four 10-hour shifts per week. There is an on-call requirement of up to 5 days per month. What's in it for you?
