We also provide select low-cost veterinary services to the public, helping make quality veterinary care accessible to our community. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal welfare and wants to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly alongside a veterinarian, while also having the confidence and skills to perform tasks independently when appropriate.Responsibilities include:
Surgical preparation and patient monitoring during surgery Drawing blood and running laboratory tests Taking and processing radiographs (X-rays) Performing fecal testing and interpreting results Assisting the veterinarian during appointments and examinations Administering vaccinations Placing and monitoring IV catheters Calculating and preparing basic medications Maintaining accurate medical records using clinic software Providing excellent patient care and client communicationQualifications:
