What Youll DoAs a Veterinary Technician, youll work closely with our veterinarians and support team throughout all areas of patient care, including:
Performing venipuncture and placing IV cathetersAssisting veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and diagnostic proceduresPreparing patients for surgical and dental proceduresMonitoring anesthesia and assisting with patient recoveryAdministering medications, vaccines, fluids, and treatments as directedTaking digital radiographs and assisting with diagnostic imagingCollecting and processing laboratory samplesProviding safe and compassionate patient restraintMaintaining accurate medical records and treatment notesReviewing discharge instructions and communicating with clients about patient careHelping maintain an organized and efficient treatment area and hospital workflowWhat Were Looking ForWere seeking someone who is confident in their veterinary technician skills and ready to contribute to a busy clinical team.
Ideal candidates will have:
