We are a two-doctor practice dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care for pets and outstanding service for our clients. Our hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and boarding and grooming. We are currently seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced technician who is comfortable in surgery and confident in assisting with dental procedures under direct veterinary supervision. At Lakeside, we pride ourselves on a supportive, team-oriented culture where every member of our staff plays an important role in delivering high-quality veterinary care.
- IV catheter placement on pets
- Drawing blood from multiple sites on a patient
- Comfortable safely handling dogs and cats
- Performing digital & Dental radiographs on pets
- Anesthesia monitoring of pets during surgical procedures
- Demonstrate attention to detail for patient care
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and communication
- The ability to provide and implement attentive, exceptional client service
- Dental prophylaxis
- Bilingual is a plus
- Certified / Licensed Veterinary Technicians are a plus Candidates must have experience handling dogs and cats and have experience in basic animal care.
