Duties:
```
  • Assist the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Prepare the operating room by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available for each procedure
  • Assist with patient positioning and draping
  • Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery
  • Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure ```
Qualifications:
```
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technician or in a similar role is a plus
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
  • Proficient in animal catheterization, animal handling, animal restraint, pet care, and animal husbandry
  • Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and equipment is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
