Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in dental and oral surgical procedures to animals
  • Perform routine procedures blood draws and catheter placements
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Provide compassionate care and handle animals with patience and respect
Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a veterinary technician is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and restraint techniques
  • Familiarity with common veterinary medications and their administration routes
  • Proficiency in performing laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
  • Ability to operate veterinary equipment and machinery effectively
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
