Our mission is to provide quality veterinary care to animals and increase their wellbeing. Role Description Are you a Veterinary Technician or Assistant looking for a place to call home? Here at Woodington Vet, we strongly believe in a solid work-life balance. While professionalism and practicing quality medicine is our standard, we never let an opportunity to have some fun pass us by! This is a full-time role, but the option for part-time is available. The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting with animal care, maintaining medical records, administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and client education. The Veterinary Technician will also be responsible for working closely with the veterinarian to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients. Qualifications Experience as a Veterinary Technician Ability to draw blood and place catheters Ability to educate clients on animal health and wellness Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with laboratory procedures, surgical monitoring, and managing medical records. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animal care and be committed to continuous learning and professional development.
