Job Description:

We are seeking flexible, well-rounded experienced ( 5+year ) ER Veterinary Technicians ready for various shifts including (but not limited to) morning, afternoon, holiday, swing and weekend positions at our hospital.

About Us:

NVA Animal Medical Center of Plainfield provides urgent care for pets who are sick or injured when their primary care veterinarian is closed or overwhelmed. We service the entire Southwest suburbs of Chicago and our growing 20-doctor practice not only offers emergency services, but we also offer ER surgical services such as caesarians, ingested foreign body removal, GDV surgery, laceration repair and any other procedures that cannot wait until the primary care veterinarian's office is open and available. We utilize digital radiography, in-house laboratory and blood typing, isolation ward and two surgical suites. We had our

Required Skills:

Phlebotomy & catheter placement Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique Anesthesia monitoring proficiency Perioperative surgical nursing skills ICU nursing skills Experience operating fluid pumps and maintaining IV sets Triage skills Emergency Medicine skills to include CPR proficiency Day clinic hours are: 6am-10pm 7 days a week Daytime, afternoon, swing and weekend shifts available Mandatory holiday shifts Full time opportunities Flexible shifts ranging 6-hours to 12 hours Benefits for full time employees:
