SomerPet is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Veterinary Technician to join our overnight team and support our growing emergency and hospitalized patient services. This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently with minimal supervision, takes initiative, and can recognize what needs to be done without waiting for direction. What You'll Do Assist with emergency and hospitalized patients Monitor patients throughout the night and recognize changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as directed Place IV catheters and collect blood samples Perform in-house laboratory testing and obtain radiographs Assist with emergency procedures and surgery when needed Maintain accurate medical records Keep treatment, ICU, and hospital areas clean, stocked, and ready Communicate patient concerns promptly to the veterinarian Complete overnight responsibilities independently and efficiently What We're Looking For Must be self-motivated and able to work well alone with little supervision Able to identify tasks and take initiative without constant direction Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working overnight Strong patient-monitoring and technical skills Able to remain calm and make good decisions in emergency situations Excellent communication and organizational skills Veterinary technician experience strongly preferred Licensed/credentialed technicians encouraged to apply Interest in emergency and critical care medicine This position requires someone we can trust to take ownership of the hospital and patient-care responsibilities during overnight hours. Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 48.0 per week
