Job Description
Aurora Animal Hospital is a AAHA accredited multi-doctor hospital looking for a registered veterinary techinician or an experienced veterinary technician. We are looking for a positive, self motivated individual to join our team. We have wonderful long established clients and practice high quality medicine. Some duties include but not limited to...
- Assisting Veterinarian with Appointments, Drop offs, & Surgeries
- Giving Injections & Medicating Patients
- Placing IV Cathethers & Setting up Fluid Bags
- Client Communication - going over estimates with clients, callbacks, educating clients about HWP & Flea Prevention in exam rooms, etc...
- Entering charges into our Avimark Software System & Producing estimates
- Taking Radiographs
- Dental Cleanings
- Taking temps, resp rate, and heart rate on patients Must be an animal lover and communicate well with clients.
